On January 28, 2011, UTMSPACE was established as a Company Limited by Guarantee (CLBG) and as per Malaysian Companies Act 2016 (CA 2016) legislation. UTMSPACE is currently managed by a Chief Executive Officer and governed by a Board of Directors.

As member of the Company of Professional and Continuing Education, UTMSPACE, as Support Services Unit, Advanced Teaching and Learning Services, developed by Educational and Training Services with HRD Corp, provides Executive and Professional Education Training with UTM specialists and industry captains, as well as training for corporate clients abroad and within the country.
